The Good Coffee - is a brand that focuses on the concept of the aroma of coffee that, once tasted, touches the soul of the people. The logo illustrates a sign of infinity, reinforcing the idea of the taste of coffee, the logotype being timeless, classic and kind of friendly. 

A good mood/life/day starts with a good coffee. :)

Project Description:

This packaging design was created for The Good Coffee, a specialty coffee brand concept. The goal was to break away from the visual uniformity often seen in the coffee industry and to create a standout, bold look that feels modern, artistic, and premium.

Context & Challenge

Most specialty coffee bags on the market tend to follow similar visual trends, earthy tones, hand-drawn illustrations, minimalist layouts, or vintage-inspired aesthetics. While these are safe and familiar, they often blur together on the shelf. The challenge was to develop a design that instantly differentiates itself without compromising clarity or functionality.

Design Challenges

Striking a balance between visual impact and clear communication of product details (origin, roast level, weight).

Creating a unique look that avoids common coffee packaging clichés.

Maintaining a consistent brand identity across multiple variants while giving each one its own character.


Design Solutions

I used abstract visuals, digital textures, and flowing linework to evoke the richness and complexity of the coffee experience.

A bold and contrasting color palette helps distinguish each roast: red for light roast, dark purple for dark roast, and teal for medium roast.

The logotype features a customized “O” to create a recognizable, signature brand element.

The information label is kept minimal and positioned for easy readability, ensuring a functional design despite the energetic background.

Final Outcome

A visually striking packaging system that defies category norms while remaining functional and on-brand. The design invites curiosity and positions the coffee as bold, creative, and high-quality.

What I Learned

This project strengthened my ability to combine expressive visuals with practical communication. It also helped me refine my approach to building brand consistency across a product line while allowing space for visual variety.
